Student Life Village Phase 1

About the Project

The Student Life Village Phase I project is the first of a multi-phased approach in the development of the Student Life Village, a new land-use strategy amendment to the campus master plan adopted by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors in November 2022. Phase I will include the development of over 1,750 beds in four residential quads, dining spaces, and indoor and outdoor wellbeing and recreation spaces. The project also includes accessible transportation infrastructure, pathways and trails, and utilities.

The Student Life Village will help further Virginia Tech’s commitment to creating a rich learning environment and furthering student well-being by increasing access to living-learning communities that integrate the academic and social aspects of students’ lives.
