What can you do to protect your watershed and prevent stormwater pollution?
Things to do at home to help prevent stormwater pollution:
- Wash your car on your lawn, gravel, or go to a carwash that recycles wash water.
- Inspect your car on a regular basis for any leaks.
- Clean up your pet’s waste. The Facilities Department has installed over 30 pet waste stations across campus.
- Properly dispose of batteries and old electronics.
- Properly dispose of cigarette butts.
