Capital Design

The Office of University Planning assists with capital project design reviews, including renovations and new construction, to ensure they meet the university's design standards. The team participates in the capital project management lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, and completion. The Office of University Planning engages with stakeholders such as university units, faculty, and staff to understand their needs and incorporate them into the capital design process. The team also assists in preserving the historical and architectural integrity of Virginia Tech buildings, properties, and viewsheds surrounding those facilities.
