Examples: You smell gas or a clogged toilet is flooding the building.

Call 540-231-4300 during normal business hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday. Outside of normal business hours or during holidays, call the Virginia Tech Police Department's non-emergency line at 540-382-4343 to report the situation.

Do you have a routine maintenance problem?

Examples: To report lights out, too hot/too cold conditions, routine malfunctioning of equipment (such as restroom faucets dripping).

To report routine maintenance issues, use one of the options below to contact the Facilities Department so we can respond to the issue as quickly as possible:

  1. Submit a HokieServ Customer Request Form.
  2. Call the Facilities Customer Service Line at 540-231-4300.
  3. Email vtrepair@vt.edu.
